My role is to create in both financial and business strategy for OSiT whilst also working with Simon Eastlake, our Developments Director, to find new buildings and project manage their refurbishment and launch. This involves quite a lot of lunches, not to mention late trains home!

I was born in Welwyn Garden City and educated at Pangbourne College in Berkshire. I now live in Oxfordshire and commute each day into The City.

I am a self-confessed serial entrepreneur. I was 22 years of age when I set up my first business which was an estate agency based in Northampton. Moving on from there, further businesses were or still are City Executive Centres, my first experience in the serviced office industry, Disaster Recovery Solutions Ltd and Benchmark Law.

I am a keen sportsman with rugby being my game of choice. I played my last game when I was 44, although I still enjoy keeping fit, it is of a more sporadic nature.

I also integrate my work life with my role as Governor of Northampton Academy where I lend my experience and guidance to this environment.

On the 14th May 2009, my sister Niki Fuchs and I started Office Space in Town and we have never looked back. I am the proud CEO of a successful and growing serviced office group who, in my opinion, employs elite staff that share our family values, and offer the best service to companies of any size looking for office space.

I have always been a bit of a wild child and did manage to find trouble where most girls my age couldn’t. So, by the time I had finished my A-levels, University was not an option for me. I went off to secretarial school and started work in recruitment.

My mother – Caryl Fuchs – set up and ran the first UK serviced office at Beckett House in Northampton back in 1979. This was the first centre in her company called OTSS.   This is where I cut my teeth in the industry, starting as a receptionist and moving up to conferencing assistant, Centre Manager, Operations and Training Manager, Managing Director and as of July 2022 CEO of Office Space in Town Ltd which I own with my brother Giles and four other incredible shareholders.  

I have been on an incredible journey since I took over City Executive Centres Ltd in 1997 and sold to MWB Group in 2005. Giles, Sarah and I started Office Space in Town in 2009 with a vision to own central London assets which we achieved in July of this year by buying out Starwood the shareholders in 4 out of our 5 London centres.

No entrepreneur's journey is easy, whatever they may say with hindsight!  I have learnt so much from many people along the way, as much as from what has gone wrong as from what has gone right.  I haven’t stopped learning either, initially it was about business survival and growth.  In 2018 when we raised our third round of funding I found that I had to learn how to be an MD not a hands on Entrepreneur.  Thank you Giles.  It has been hard but very rewarding.  This shift has enabled me to understand more about myself and those around me.  To give me the tools and insights to make OSiT a people focused business and really embed our values and ethos into a company culture that we live every day.

I am surrounded by the most amazing individuals who make OSiT what it is. Each one of our staff is an inspiring individual, who gives their all to make our clients happy and their businesses run smoothly and to support and care for their colleagues.

Is to enable our new executive team to take over the business.  They are experienced, entrepreneurial, motivated, and good friends but they have a big challenge ahead of them: the economic headwinds, the changes to our social structure that continue to grow and challenge society and everything else!  Also learning and understanding how to deal with the level of responsibility that one has every day for those that you employ and whose businesses rely on your services.

In my role as CEO I wish to continue to learn about coaching, counselling and training.  I want to be able to support the Executive Management Team in continuing to be a people focused business that enables individuals – staff and clients - to achieve their goals and aspirations in life.

I have been in the property industry for most of my working life. I first met Giles and Niki Fuchs when I worked for an estate agent owned by Giles in 1998. I then worked for Niki in her company, City Executive Centres.

City Executive Centres was a pioneering company in the serviced office industry. Being a relatively new industry in the UK, marketing was targeted at educating people and informing businesses about the great product that is flexible office space. 

Niki and I also owned and ran our own brokerage, ‘Offices Please!’ for a number of years before co-Founding Office Space in Town with Giles and Niki in 2009.

I started working for Office Space in Town in Hemel Hempstead, then Aylesbury and in January 2011 I opened Euston Tower, the first London-based centre within the group. 

My experience within the industry is comprehensive covering various (read: ALL) parts of the industry from reception to sales, from conferencing to operations, from managing to Director.

If I had to say what the secret to success in this business is, it would be one word: staff. Employing and working alongside the very best people, who give the best service, is a great bonus in my everyday life. This positively impacts the clients and is integral to the success of Office Space in Town and why clients choose to make us their business home.

I commute to London on a regular basis and I live and have my office in my home located in Northamptonshire. I spend a lot of time with my family, pets and friends and practice yoga, not as often as I should.

In 2013 I became Sales Director and Co-founder. I finally feel like I have found my forever role.

After my degree at Loughborough and a brief foray into the recruitment industry, I joined City Executive Centres run by Niki and Giles Fuchs in 2001. At City Executive Centres I was involved in sales and centre management of a new centre in Brighton. City Executive Centres was a pioneering company in the serviced office industry within the UK. When this business was sold to MWB, I moved with them and had roles as an Area Manager and Senior Sales Manager in London.

After leaving MWB, I set up a new serviced office business called the Serviced Office Company and opened two buildings in London and Manchester, although opening at a challenging economic period was very successful.

In 2012, I was approached by Giles and Niki Fuchs to join them again in their new venture, Office Space in Town, which they had started in 2009. They had 2 centres at this point and were actively looking to expand.

My role was originally to open the new buildings. I got involved after Giles had acquired the buildings. I was then made Developments Director in 2018 responsible for sourcing new buildings and had full responsibility for the design and build process, following on with the initial set up of the new centre, recruitment and most importantly, the pre- and post-opening sales. So far, I have opened 4 buildings. Office Space in Town  has 5 successful London-based centres. 

In July 2022 I was made Managing Director and my responsibilities now include overall responsibility of the business and the ongoing strategy for the future. Our aim is to grow the business by 2 further locations each year. 

With 20 years experience in the industry at all levels from purely Sales to Managing Director, I am well placed to deliver the level of service that we strive for at Office Space in Town.

I am a Cornishman who after living in Brighton for 15 years moved to London in 2016 and married an extremely talented South African. I do get back to Cornwall as often as I can. I was a keen rugby player but age got the better of me so now you will find me watching it with a beer rather than playing. I also enjoy playing Golf but definitely need to practise more!

I started OSiT at the very beginning in 2011 at the tender age of 20 years old, beginning a journey carving out my career and growing with the company from its infancy (and mine!). 

I have worked every post within the business and learnt so much along the way, alongside my wonderful colleagues and mentors.  I now have the privilege of being Operations & ESG Director, a role I am immensely proud of and thoroughly love.   

I have a fascination with the natural world, which started from a very young age, as my father instilled in me a desire to always learn about, and to protect, our planet.   Over the years I have taken a keen interest in learning about environmental sustainability and social impact, learning from pioneers and thought leaders in this field and volunteering and contributing to social causes I care about.   I am now fortunate enough to combine this passion with my job and help run our business in a way that reduces our impact on the planet, encourages the wellbeing of our OSiT family and gives back to our local community. 

I am business minded but also love all things creative.  I have a passion for music and spend lots of my free time going to gigs and I love art, be it painting or making jewellery.

I work in Cardiff but I live in Wick in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. My family are sixth-generation Wick.

With 27 years’ experience in manufacturing and aviation, a move into office space and retail was a huge step which I knew would be a challenge and something I would really enjoy.

One of my main roles at Office Space in Town working for Niki and Giles is networking within the Cardiff business community. Additionally, my clients at OSiT are professional and business minded, enjoying and gaining contacts from our monthly networking events held at Temple Court.

In my role, I am continually looking at my business and social networks to see who would benefit from being introduced and actively manage these introductions. I see this as a key transferable skill which would work for the benefit of many start-up and current businesses.

I like to help businesses start up and expand in Cardiff and enjoy giving them the benefit of my experience within the corporate and SME sectors.

Niki and Giles are very supportive employers who are keen for me to be involved in the local community and so time is not restricted.

I work for businesses and with businesses, something that I have always focused on and from which I have reaped many rewards both socially and professionally. I deal with over 700 enquiries a year for our office space which allows me to have an insight into many commercial situations.

My one tip in business is always be doing what is right and not what is easy.

I understand the importance of social media and I am a member of many online forums such as Cardiff Business Club, Cardiff Business Group, One Big Network, and South Wales Business Contacts.

I am an integral part of the Vale of Glamorgan business community as I have opened a small retail company in the last two years. This has enabled me to experience firsthand the challenges faced by people who are setting up and running small businesses in the current economic climate.

In Sept 2014, I was offered a Directorship by Niki and Giles. This was definitely the highlight of my career.

I first met Giles and Niki Fuchs in 2005, when they needed some assistance in unravelling and understanding various accounting entries in two new companies that were managed by their original serviced office management company City Executive Centres Ltd.

From this beginning, I became more involved on a weekly basis with some of the other business centres managed by City Executive Centres Limited and assisted Giles and Niki personally with their tax, accounting and compliance issues. From these early days, a business and professional relationship evolved of mutual trust and respect – not to mention the fun of working with two highly enthusiastic, personable and dynamic individuals.

Although I work very closely with Niki, Giles and all the OSiT centre managers I am an independent accountant with my business, “A” Plus Accountants Limited, based in Corby.

In 2014, Giles and Niki offered me the position of Finance Director for OSiT which allows me to have a further insight into the development of the company. Of course, I accepted – who would not want to be involved with such a group of focused, entertaining, professional people as those that work within OSiT?

When I am not working for OSiT, I enjoy motorcycling and travel – preferably at the same time. I think I have now visited more countries on two wheels and met more interesting people than I have ever done on more conventional holidays. Long may that continue too!

Hi, I’m James and I’ve run Office Space in Town in Edinburgh for the last 10 years. 

During that time, I’ve had some wonderful highs and the obvious lows of Covid, but the one constant has been our clients and the relationships we have built.  I’m always reminded of the old telephone advert – it’s good to talk – and that is the bedrock of how we operate in an open and transparent manner.  With that basis, we have helped our clients overcome many diverse challenges over the years, and I am certain we will continue to do so for many years to come. 

The word family can be overused at times, but with OSiT it really is true. The entire business is like an extended family, and we all help each other out, when someone needs a helping hand.  There is never a discussion over budgets or cost bases, it is just a question of what can be done.

In Edinburgh, we are constantly investing in our buildings, and have most recently upgraded all our IT to enable our clients to access the super-fast broadband we all need in the new era of video calls.  This, coupled with continued investment in our offices and physical meeting spaces, makes us a great place to base yourself and your business.

But let’s be honest, work isn’t everything and away from work, I spend my time with my wife and our 3 sons.  They constantly keep me on my toes and I’ve even become a Sunday rugby coach at our local club, as with 3 boys I like to give something back to the community.  That said, 9.30am on Sunday can sometimes be a struggle! When I do get some time to myself, I also run (slowly) and play social cricket a lot worse than my 20 something self ever did.

I have been working in the Serviced Office industry for 14 years. As they say, time flies when you are having fun!

The amazing thing about OSiT is not just the quality of the buildings, but the fantastic team we have and the fact that we can build relationships with clients as they are often long-term residents. It’s amazing to work for a company that has companies and staff who have been in the centres since they opened!

Since joining the OSiT family, the Directors have always encouraged me to grow personally and professionally. I have always relished the opportunity to learn more and recently jumped at the opportunity to become General Manager here at our St Paul’s centre. 

I love this location!  Perfectly wedged between Farringdon and the city. You can pretty much walk everywhere from here. Something that I like to take advantage of by walking to work from Kings Cross, which takes me about 30 minutes. It’s a great way to start the day or unwind on the way home.

In my spare time, I have two passions. One is travelling. I try to take advantage of holidays and juggle between returning to my home in OZ. I also volunteer at Oxfam, which initially started as me helping a friend but then I discovered that they are always short-staffed. OSiT is so supportive of this. We even have a volunteering policy.

I started my OSiT journey in 2014 as Meeting and Conferencing manager for the group, immediately I felt welcomed into my new role and settled in very quickly across all the centres. It was a great first introduction to OSiT as I got to spend time in all our locations, getting to know the buildings as well as the teams. It gave me an opportunity to see our strong company ethos in practice and I experienced first hand just how much passion we all have for what we’re doing. 

In Jan 2015, I took on my first General Manager role at our Boundary Row location and I have not looked back since. Office Space in Town Waterloo is a completely unique serviced office that follows Alice on her journey through Wonderland. The building is totally different to anything this industry has seen before and that only adds to its appeal. The building is full of energy and personality and myself and my wonderful team love nothing more than to get to know our clients both professionally and personally, which ensures the office is a really nice place to be and only strengthens our family feel. 

In my spare time, I spend a lot of time with my young Daughter Lola. She is a regular visitor to the building during the holidays and has pledged to me on many occasions to take over the Alice building one day. I told her she has big boots to fill!  

I love to holiday as much as I can, I’m a beach kind of girl, and I also love to hit the gym which makes me feel fresh, the centre having a brand-new gym that is situated literally 10 seconds from my desk means no excuses! 

Working for OSiT for all these years, I feel very lucky to be a part of something so special. Every person in the company is extremely valued and invested in and as a general manager, it is always my focus to ensure this ethos is felt by everyone that passes through the building.

My career in the Serviced office industry started 18 years ago which in many ways still feels like yesterday.  I am grateful that 8 of those years have been at OSiT with my work family who are the most supportive bunch of people I have ever worked with. We refer to ourselves as Ositeers and are a family run business at our core which means we are always there for each other through thick and thin and makes OSiT a truly unique company to work for and with and sits at the heart of our success.

Whilst the industry landscape has changed a lot over the years, with so many new providers and new ways of working, one principle has always remained close to my heart and that is providing my clients with the best possible service in the best facilities.  As a Senior General Manager at OSIT’s flagship Monument building, my greatest pleasure is to hear our clients show off the Deck (our private rooftop bar and café) and building to their guests and hearing the “wows” as they walk around.  

When I am not at work, my weekends are filled spending time with my husband Jonathan, 18 year old daughter Abigail and my 15 year old son Sebastian.  My daughter and I have a shared love for a brutal gym class called Blaze which is designed to drive your heart rate up on the treadmill, strength and combat zones which kills us each weekend!  My other weekend pleasure is cooking and love nothing more than whipping up a Sunday roast with a spicy Bloody Mary in hand.  

I fell into this industry by chance almost two decades ago but have stayed by choice.  I love that no two days are the same and the emotional rewards are immense giving me a true sense of purpose and satisfaction.

After working for many years within the hospitality & customer service industry, I decided in 1999 to take the opportunity to transfer my knowledge and experience to the serviced office industry with MWB in the Thames Valley. 

Roll on 17 years and an additional 1:30 hour commute. I was offered the dream opportunity to work for Niki and Giles as Meeting Room & Conferencing General Manager based within our Alice in Wonderland themed centre in Waterloo. Which in turn over the years has offered me the chance to oversee and develop our Event Space at the “Deck” in Monument and become the General Manager at Mayfair & St Paul’s. 

In 2019 I moved over to join Simon to launch our “Happiness” Centre in Blackfriars, with its Giant bugs, Giraffes and even a Mermaid on a swing.

Now over 3 years on, I’m still using my hospitality skills on the “Deck” with Holly, continue to manage our Meeting & Conferencing team and my focus is for my teams & I to continue building the community within the centre, supporting the OSiT and local charities, driving the sustainability (ESG) within Tudor Street and delivering a 5-star service to both clients & visitors. 

When I am not covering an Event on the Deck or looking after the day-to-day operations of Tudor Street, you will find me on the golf course, fingers crossed one year I will beat Giles.

I started with Office Space in Town in 2012 and was based at the very first London site, Euston Tower. Having had no previous experience of serviced offices, Sarah Singlehurst, our now Sales Director, taught me the ropes in a fast-paced environment. I settled into an operations based role. This gave me a good grasp of the engine room of the business, as well as being client facing.

In 2015, a fantastic opportunity presented itself with a new building in Mayfair. Both Sarah and I took the reins at the new site, which boasted a 1920’s Art Deco design. We were able to put our own stamp on it and it quickly became our baby. Mayfair has since flourished and is a big attraction in the Office Space in Town portfolio.

In 2017, the Directors of Office Space in Town rewarded me with the privilege of becoming the General Manager of Mayfair, which I embraced.

In 2020, I was handed a great opportunity to move to New Broad Street as General Manager. This move means greater responsibility in managing more staff at a bigger site. I very much look forward to embarking on this new challenge.

My development through Office Space in Town is a true credit to the ethos of the company. They provide an internal support structure with an emphasis on staff development and inspire a passion for excellent customer service.
