Friends reunited!

When the team at Highland Marketing were looking for a new office base for their London team, inspiration came from an unexpected quarter. Janet Davies, who joined Office Space in Town as Consultant Communications Director in March, was a former Highland Marketing client when she was EMEA Communications Director at Orion Heath and she had just updated her Linkedin profile with her latest role. Susan Venables, founder and Client Services Director, sent her a 'Congrats' message and got in touch for a chat. It didn't take long for Janet to suggest that not only would the team at Highland fall in love with the cool interiors at any of OSiT's London centres but their genuine 'service with a smile' culture would make them feel at home in a way that their current serviced office providers certainly didn't seem to be doing!

Visits to the Euston Tower, St Paul's, Liverpool Street and Monument centres were quickly arranged but then came the conundrum...which to choose? Mark Venables, founder and CEO at Highland Marketing, says "We loved every centre we visited but the set up at Monument was just perfect for us. We wanted a base that our employees would be excited to work in and that we'd be proud to bring our clients to. As we travel down from our base in Scotland every week, The Cabins serviced bedrooms provided the perfect solution for us and breakfast on The Deck with its fantastic views across London - that was the icing on the cake. The range of beautifully designed breakout spaces and meeting rooms make it easy and enjoyable to get our work done and the team are really happy here. We're expanding and hiring - who wouldn't want to work with us here at this impressive base?".

At the time Highland was looking to move, World Cup fever had gripped the nation and there were regular events up on The Deck to watch the games. Mark commented, "Football may be coming home, but since we discovered the gem that is OSIT Monument I have to say that we have felt like this has been our home since the first day we set foot over the threshold. Delivering a level of professionalism that many in the sector can only aspire to, a team that is friendly, courteous, and just as importantly has a can-do attitude/ethos. And as if that wasn't enough, the Deck just caps off this incredible experience for us at Highland Marketing!"
