Introducing the PA Life Rising Star of 2019: Cara Gaffney
We are thrilled to reveal the PA Life Rising Star for 2019: the fabulous Cara Gaffney.
The awards ceremony took place on Monday 25th November at BEAT London as part of the PA Life Christmas party.
2019 has been an exceptional year for Cara. She organised and participated in the Three Peaks challenge in March 2019 raising money for the McClafferty family. In total, Office Space in Town raised just shy of £14,000 over the course of a year. Cara also played a part in raising £800 for a friend of Charlotte Lee, Receptionist at St Paul’s, to go to Burgh Island and most recently £2,000 for the Cuppa Club Companions Club in Northampton. 2019 has also seen Cara execute Reception policies and procedures following an extensive audit to implement a new reception infrastructure. Cara is also instrumental in the management, mentoring and development of Emily Green, our OSiT angel. To add to her list of accomplishments, Cara launched Our Space, the intranet platform for OSiT employees offering a new internal communication platform, a range of retail and leisure discounts for our staff plus the relevant tools for employee training and development.
Giles and Niki Fuchs said “We are absolutely delighted to see Cara recognised by a leading publication for Personal Assistants. Cara is an organised, passionate and determined individual but on top of that, she is one of the nicest people you could ask to work with. She is a credit to Office Space in Town and we are thrilled to see her achievements recognised externally. Well done, Cara. We are so proud of you!”
