Office Space in Town takes on Tough Mudder
On Saturday 18th April 2020, Office Space in Town's bravest soldiers will be taking on Tough Mudder City to raise money for this year's chosen charity, Centre 404.
Centre 404 is a charity that offers friendly, reliable and person centred support to people with a learning disability and their families across eight London boroughs. In the 70 plus years since it was founded it has built vital services providing children, adults and families access to activities and support, and importantly a voice. It continues to work towards a building a society where people with learning disabilities are valued and involved.
For the 2020 Charity Appeal, OSiT are aiming to raise £10,000 for Centre 404’s supported housing accommodation within Islington.
Over £50,000 has been raised over the past 5 years for numerous OSiT charity appeals and every year, the OSiT tribe push beyond their limits to face a new challenge for a fantastic cause. After testing their stamina by climbing the Abergavenny 3 peaks last year, it was decided it's time for something slightly faster paced.
This year, Giles and Niki Fuchs will be joined by 18 OSiT crew members to face the 10k and 5k obstacle courses taking place in Finsbury Park to fundraise for Centre 404. This is a challenge of strength, stamina and mental determination … as well as team work and the ability to keep smiling through it all.
It's time for the OSiT team to get stuck in... and very muddy!
