Tag Rugby Success for RDI’s Sarah Jones

We would like to congratulate Sarah Jones, Head of Commercial Asset Management at RDI, following her recent success at the Tag Rugby British and Irish Cup.

Sarah was co-captain of the mixed senior team with Great Britain winning 4-2 overall. This is the first time Great Britain have won the tournament in 7 years since it started. Sarah was also part of the squad that went to Australia for the World Cup last year where the women’s senior team took home a bronze medal.

Sarah said “I am absolutely delighted to be part of this success for the Great Britain team. It is hard being the fittest you’ve ever been at the oldest you’ve ever been, but it was certainly worth it. I will re-trial again for the next British and Irish Cup. Thank you to everyone for their support and encouragement. I am proud of my teammates on this huge achievement”.

The tournament took place at Twyford Avenue Sports Group, the former home of Wasps RFC.
