Taking a tour of our Home of Happiness

Launching a sophisticated, high-end office which could deliver a productive, happy working environment was a tall order. Working with office out-fitters Area and interior designer Sam Kopsch Studio, we are proud to say that our Blackfriars office is exactly that: professional, digitally advanced and luxurious, all in an innovative, exciting environment.

In a recent article, Office Lovin explores the hard work and meticulous attention to detail required to launch a luxury office that meets the evolving needs of today’s workforce.

Office Space in Town were delighted with what we describe as ‘the ultimate home of happiness’. Simon Eastlake, Developments Director at (OSiT), commented: ‘From the innovative technology through to the bespoke meeting rooms and breakout spaces, everything has been meticulously designed to offer clients the best possible service and the optimal working environment that will allow them to thrive, as well as support the wellbeing of employees.”

We tasked the designers with creating a professional, high-quality workspace to boost productivity and employee wellness. Facilities within the building include: client lounges, breakout spaces, communal kitchen areas, a roof top café and terrace, as well as meeting rooms and cellular offices. There are also shower facilities, cycle storage and a gym studio in the building.

As the designers were starting with a concrete frame as part of the fit out they were able to incorporate many sophisticated and advanced features, including the use of Dynamic Glass – resulting in windows that automatically tint to maximise natural light and reduce heat or glare.

The interior design style was based on the concept of happiness and the project team’s memories – featuring model train sets, hot air balloons and a mermaid.
