ESG – Environmental, Social & Governance,
OSiT’s approach to ESG
Before we talk about our approach to ESG, let’s clarify - what is ESG?
It stands for Environmental, Social & Governance and is a way to assess a business’ practices and performance in relation to certain sustainability and ethical issues. It’s evolved over the years from Corporate Sustainability to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and now to ESG – although we prefer to call it ‘People, Planet and Power’.
Our ESG strategy is an integral part of our purpose and while our approach has developed and evolved too, what has not changed is our belief that being good at business also means doing good as a business. This has always fed our desire to build a business with the right ethos towards people and the planet, and to use our collective force, our power, to influence and improve. As with any holistic approach there’s a lot of overlap across each of these areas.
Please find below our third annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report which will take a look back at our performance last year and provide a transparent look into our data on consumption, track our progress towards our targets and set out our priorities for the year ahead.
